The TMI TRIM Road Tour, a journey that spanned four exciting stops, culminated at TMI's Headquarters in Corona, CA with the 4th and final stop. The excitement was in the air as participants proudly displayed their rides, competing for the coveted title. The TRIM judges, a panel comprising notable industry figures including Sean Holman, Sara Morosan, Theresa Contreras, Marcel Venable, Jason Mulligan, and Kevin Oeste, converged to evaluate the entries. Despite the exceptional competition, it was Dana Estes' 1969 Chevy C10 Stepside that stole the show.

The Crown Jewel: 1969 Chevy C10 Stepside

Dana Estes' vehicle, a mesmerizing 1969 Chevy C10 Stepside, not only clinched the title of the 4th and final stop winner but was also crowned the overall 2023 TMI Road Tour Champion. This victory was no small feat, as it secured Dana a coveted parking spot in Booth #V196 right in front of the Central Hall at the 2023 SEMA Show, set to take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center from October 31st to November 3rd.

In addition to the prime parking location, Dana also won a 5-night hotel stay in Las Vegas during the SEMA Show. This win marked the beginning of an exciting journey, positioning Dana as the first Top 20 Finalist for the TMI TRIM Awards at the 2023 SEMA Show.

A Vision of Elegance and Craftsmanship

Dana Estes' 1969 Chevy C10 Stepside is a true work of art, showcasing meticulous attention to detail. The exterior of the vehicle has a Dodge Smokehouse Grey paint with added pearl metallic flake that sparkles under the Southern California sun. The custom grey body color features a dark grey graphic and a black accent on the hood, a design that seamlessly transitions into the interior.

The TMI TRIM Judges were particularly impressed by the execution of integrating the exterior color theme into the interior, resulting in a stunningly cohesive appearance. The 60” Sport-R Deluxe Bench is upholstered in Grey leather with black suede inserts, complemented by matching molded door panels. The same grey color scheme extends to the TMI molded dash pad, custom subwoofer box, and kick panels, all meticulously crafted by Pacific Stereo in Riverside, CA.

A Masterpiece on Wheels

Dana Estes' attention to detail extends beneath the hood. The heart of his C10 has a GM Performance LS3 engine, nestled on a full TCI Chassis and propelled by a custom Gibson Exhaust system. The Willwood Disc Brakes on all four corners ensure exceptional stopping power, while the blacked-out 20” US Mags wheels add to the vehicle's commanding stance. Dana's C10 is not just a showpiece—it's a high-performance driver's dream.
